Tell you what.....

I've lost my precious Darling before......
I was devastated, and deeply heartbroken.
However, I'm not as sad as I've expected right now because Darling's baby girl is a 'photostated copy' of her, except for the fact that Darling's fur was brown, and the daughter is black and white.
To make things even better, she had just delivered 6 puppies on the 26th of June.
Too bad that two of them didn't make it out alive :(....
Well, I'll upload their photos when they have gotten cuter later. Until then, take care!

On holiday :)

Hi ho!

I'm currently in the midst of summer break, back at my home town, and man, believe me when I say that I'm living in a very rural place. High on top of the mountain, right next to the forest, and to top every thing else, just in front of the graveyard.

Yes, creepy :)

Anyway, I'll be away for a very very long time......so, please miss me A LOT! :) Ha ha! I'm kidding! No, really. I'll be away, training inside a cave. under the waterfall, to terminate all of the fats engulfing my body.

Right! Stay healthy loves :)

Cheers!

A photo of my Darling for your viewing pleasure :)

Lab skills

It was supposed to be the end of term, but ain't my department acting a little mean on us?

School of Chemistry, University of Bristol

Everybody else are partying, celebrating their freedom from the exams, spending great, final moments with friends, and the bottom point is; we are supposed to be having fun. Instead, we were glued to our labs, six hours a day, (almost) every day, for two weeks.

An artist's impression on the Chemistry teaching lab in UOB.

Adding to our misery, the boot camp was marked, and this mark will be carried towards the end of our course. Aren't you a little too hard on us, sir?

Well, at least, I've made new friends during this camp; Emma, George, Henry, and others (whom I talked, and discussed things with, but never took the effort to change pleasantries). So, though we have to spend six hours inside the lab, the thought of spending that long six hours with these people has given me a new strength to go on every day. :)

Now that the boot camp is done, and over with. There is no word that can fully express what am I feeling right now. Well, I still have to do six hours practicals during my second year, but, at least, it won't be a back-to-back lab sessions.

Now that I think about it....I've worked so hard on the practicals, but the demonstrators are a bit stingy on marks. They should have considered the effort that us students have put into the practical session every day.

....and how hard did I work for my (second, third, &..) fourth experiment? UBER-HARD!

Anyway still, don't sweat the small stuffs, yeah?

Cheers!

Weekend away

I was away at Swansea for a summer weekend away on the 18th of June. Well, it was not officially summer until the 21st of June, but, let's just call it summer, anyway.

I've told you about my summer lab skills boot camp, yeah? The practical won't end until 5pm every day, so I thought that I won't be going to Swansea that Friday. Praise the Lord, for Laura and Ben, who made everything possible. Jim came on Saturday morning to pick Yasmin and I up.

The journey from Bristol to Swansea was a pretty long one (about two and a half hours). I have planned to sleep during the journey, since it was so early, but Chris and Jim were just so chatty, that we ended up talking all the way to our destination.

There was a free time on Saturday afternoon, so, all of us have decided to attack the beach. It was very sunny that day, BUT, the wind was just too cold. Plus, the beach was just SO wide.

From the left: Ben, Noah, Yasmin, Ruva
How did I get this photo? I ran ahead of them, trying to beat Richard, but I soon gave up, turned to face them, and snapped a photo of them.

Ah! We met mr. Jellyfish. The hand belongs to Rachel.
Truth to be told, I don't think I've ever seen one before. Ha ha! Have you?

OK, we are supposed to build an ah-mah-zing sandcastle, but I don't think we are there yet. Don't be fooled by the photo. It was not warm at all that day.

I have always wanted to try this. Thanks Jeremy!
He was reluctant at first, saying that it depends on how fast are we going to bury him.

Ain't we fast? Well, I've got to say that teamwork is most likely to win. :)
He was supposed to be a mermaid with an 8-packs, but too bad, we were unable to get his full photo.

Beautiful sunset. I took my chance to snap this photo on the way to the hall for one of the sessions.

Anyway, the weekend away as a whole was very interesting. I mean, everybody were just so friendly, we were very well fed, and, in a nutshell, every thing was just so amazing! I am really glad that I have made it.
The only bad thing about it was, I came home with a cold, and flu.

I wasn't meant to show you this, but I am just trying to prove my point. Ha ha!

Cheers!

Poser

Okay, so I was doing some box-hunting for my move-out, when I saw a beautiful white electric guitar sitting at a corner of a friend's room. A thought suddenly strikes me.......

As mentioned in the title; poser. That could be me...... I think. Ha ha!

Cheers!

p/s; you have to understand that I do not, by any means, know how to play a guitar.

Free Hugs ;)

Hey guys. I've been away for such a long time, yeah? Don't worry, you know I miss you. ;)

I just came back from my weekend summer camp yesterday, and it was amazing! Tiring, but, yeah, simply amazing. Anyway, I still have my lab skills this week........ ;( Busy, busy me.

So, today, I just wanted to call upon all of you to support this group of lovely people, by viewing and sharing their video. They are currently, trying to raise up fund to build a school in Lenana, Nairobi, Kenya.

Share the love, peeps ;)

Cross-product?

Have you ever given a thought on the many bizarre things in this world? I did, quite a number of times at that. I just could not bring myself to believe that some things are real, 'real'.

Hi! My name is Woolly, and I am a cross product of a sheep, and a dog, or a dog, and a sheep.

This lamb-dog, so they called it, belongs to Liu,  a farmer in Fugu County, Shaanxi Province. He told the press that he saw his sheep licking a newborn lamb on the grassland, and it turns out that the newborn looks oddly like a puppy.

Woolly, and momma sheep.

Hmm.... I just couldn't put a finger on this whole thing. What if Woolly was just a newborn pup, that was left by it's mother on the grassland? Or....if Woolly was old enough by then, what if it was just a wet puppy who wandered into the grassland?

Anyway, what do you say?

Cheers!

Buried alive

Have you ever thought of sleeping inside a coffin, underground, just for the sheer thrill of it?

DON'T!

You are not a vampire who are afraid of the dark, and you are not a deceased (yet).

You might ends up dying by mistake. Regardless of how deep you were buried underground, the fact that you were 'buried' itself, possesses a great opportunity for a grim reaper to come and collect you to the afterlife.

A man (let him be D) living in the eastern city of Blagoveshc, Russia, (don't ask me, I don't even know how to pronounce that 'thing') dug a hole for his coffin, climbed into it, and asked his friend (let us call him E) to cover it with eight inches of dirts. Not that deep, yeah?

Armed with a blanket, mobile phone, and a bottle of water, D stayed for the night, believing that the next morning (and towards the rest of his life), he will always be blessed with good luck.

The next day, E was surprised to find D not breathing (dead) by the time he dug him out. It was believed that the pipe holes that were providing airways for D was blocked by dirt due to the heavy rain the night before.

So, it seems that D's luck ran out the moment he'd decided to accomplish his mission.

Moral of the story: Even when you've felt like you have nothing but bad lucks, please do not resort into something like burying yourself alive. It never works that way.

Cheers!
