(30DBC) Day 06- Favorite book(s)

Hello jello!

I really like to read, and since the books here are very cheap, I've decided to get myself a Kindle so that I can download as many books as possible without worrying about how I'll transport them back to Malaysia next summer.

Rather than talking about my favorite books, I would love to talk more on my favorite writer. That will be Matthew Reilly. I've bought and read all of his books! That's just how dedicated I am. Well, I usually bought them in charity shops, so that they'll be pretty cheap. Hehe :)

Other than him, I also like to read Dean Koontz's books, and the same goes with Dan Brown's.

I've wrote a few posts on the books I've read, and like;
  1. Because I love to read
  2. My new obsession

So, if you like to read action, thriller, crime, adventure, historical type of books, you might want to consider these writers. :)

(30DBC) Day 05- A picture of somewhere you've been to

Hello everybody!

This is a picture of Stonehenge, one of the world's wonders. Well, as you can see; they are just a pile of stones that would possess no particular meaning to a mere passerby. However, they were apparently very useful in many ways in the past. They were rumored to be associated with burial, cult, determining the time, and many others. I do not have any idea if any of that were true.

Anyway, I've been here with friends a couple of time. I was never able to even touch the stones since there's this pathway a few meters away from the stones that we have to take while circling around the monument. Oh well.

Cheers!

(30DBC) Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn't have

Hello!

I went out for a buffet at ZaZa Bazaar today with a friend, followed by a short shopping trip.

So, I have this habit of wasting my time inside a shop without actually buying anything of use. It happened again today! Well, I've bought 3 pairs of socks, and 2 pairs of pajama pants... but, I could actually live without buying them. :(

Anyway, I'm not going to regret it now. I'll just be more cautious the next time I'm out. :p

(30DBC) Day 03- Childhood memories

Hi!

I remember the day my brother was trying to "teach" me how to swim.

We (the kids) followed a group of elders to the river, where they tried to harvest a plant called "agar-agar", while at the same time tried to catch some fish. So, not wanting to disturb the work of the elders, we went aside and played in the water.

My brother told me that he'll teach me how to swim. In order to do so, he asked me to pretend that I was drowning so that he can "save" me. It turns out that I didn't get to learn much from the experience since it was more terrifying than relieving. My incapable brother swam to "save" me, by dragging me over my neck, causing my face to be submerged inside the water. I really thought that I was going to die that way.

I am still unable to swim to this day. Shame on me for being a chicken. Haha!
Next time! :)

(30DBC) Day 02- What do people notice about you?

Hello everybody!

I was watching a Japanese drama called "Beautiful Rain", and I've been crying A LOT! I can't believe that I am this sentimental!

Anyway, today is the second day of the blog challenge. So, what do people notice about me?

Well, most people told me that I'm getting fatter these days. Oh NO!

Hmm... Other than that, people notice my red hair (used to, anyway).

Nothing else significant. Wahaha! I'm a person without any significance.

Oh, wait! People do notice that I am crazily in love with dogs. Haha :p

Aren't they the cutest?

What if Im brave enough?

Hello lovely people!

I was going through some blogs that I haven't got the time to visit for quite some time now, and I've got this idea from Aemy to list the things I'd do if I have enough guts to do them.

  1. Take a second degree as a veterinary
  2. Travel around the world through backpacking, and hitch-hiking
  3.  Adopt a few kids
  4. Become a mayor in my town

Well, I've got to admit that these need more money than guts. Wahaha. I'll see what I can do.

How about you?
